Forage Chicory

Forage Chicory is a highly nutritious and drought-tolerant perennial plant, making it an excellent choice for food plots, especially in areas that are hard to water. Chicory produces leafy green foliage rich in essential minerals that support deer antler growth. Growing up to 10 inches tall, this plant provides years of forage for wildlife and integrates seamlessly with other forage crops like clovers and alfalfa. Its resilience and nutritional value make Forage Chicory a vital component of a successful and sustainable food plot.

  • High Nutritional Value: Forage Chicory is rich in fiber, minerals, and protein, making it highly nutritious for deer and other wildlife
  • Drought-Resistant: It thrives in dry conditions, making it ideal for areas with limited water availability
  • Perennial: It provides a long-lasting food source year after year with proper care
  • Fast-Growing: It establishes quickly, offering wildlife an immediate and reliable food supply
  • Attracts Wildlife: Deer, turkeys, and other wildlife are drawn to its nutrient-dense leaves and roots, especially in late summer and fall
  • Low Maintenance: Requires minimal upkeep
