Cave-n-Rock Switchgrass

Cave-n-Rock Switchgrass is a perennial warm season native grass. Cave-n-Rock normally grows from 3-5 feet tall and sometimes it grows up to 6 feet tall. It has a great resistance to lodging making it great for establishing wildlife habitat and cover year round. Cave-n-Rock grows very well in various different soils and climates making it a very versatile seed. Once it's established it can last a life time with proper maintenance every year. Cave-n-Rock also has an extensive root system which provides for soil erosion control. 

Broadcast, Drill, or Frost Seed

Seeding Depth: Plant at 1/4 inch to 1/2 in

Seeding Date: (Spring to Early Summer) or (Late Summer to Late Fall)

Seeding Rate: Plant 7 to 10 lbs/acre
